The traditional distinction between countries that have a culture of protecting moral rights and countries that do not seems more and more to vanish, not because both sides come closer to a common centre point, but because the jurisdictions which did not have a tradition of protecting moral rights have been introducing them gradually into their legal system. In the following, I will give a shirt overview over this development with regard to derogatory treatment and try to answer the question weather this developments has gone far enough or if there is any need to proceed further.
Many viruses use the email addresses stored on a computer to propagate the virus. So if you receive virus attachment by email, you are the senders' address book. The sender most likely didn't want to send you a virus but if you have never heard of them, what are they doing keeping your email address? On receipt of a spam email, view the message source and look for the original senders IP address. Usually you can right click on the email and view its properties and then view the message source. Make sure you don't open any attachment since this may activate a virus. Note that the sender name and reply email address are likely to be bogus. The true sender are revealed when the IP address is acknowledged. Usually the email travelled has several IP address nodes before it reaches you so you need the source IP address which is tagged by the oldest date and time stamp.
